Logan Clark

Episode 56 is on the scene fresh from another racing weekend.

We welcome CARS Tour rookie and Mechanicsburg Virginia native Logan Clark of R&S Race Cars to the podcast. We talk about the ups and downs of the racing business from being in contention for the Virginia Triple Crown after South Boston and Langley to not even making the feature at Martinsville. We ask him about his start in racing, his rookie year on the CARS Tour so far, how he feels about working with Timothy Peters, Daniel Silvestri and Bobby McCarty and how he became a Real Estate Agent at such a young age.

We review the GXS Street Stock race from Tri-County which saw Marlin Yoder win for the second consecutive race. The race featured a controversial moment between him and Gary Ledbetter and we discussed what took place on Saturday and gave a points update leading into the season finale in a few weeks. We also break the news about a big pay day if there are more than 25 cars that show up for the next event! We also discuss the weekly support divisions that had some great racing over the weekend featuring Landon Huffman winning the Late Model Stock event.

We discuss the latest event for the SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic held at Pulaski County Motorsports Park which saw Sam Rameau become the first driver from Massachusetts to win a series event. The Northern contention came out in full force by sweeping the top three spots. We also spend time talking about the Nascar Whelen Modified Tour and Carolina Crate Modified Series event from North Wilkesboro won by Matt Hirschman and Josh Lowder respectively.

We discuss the support divisions that ran at Pulaski County Motorsports Park which saw Jason Merriman sweep the Sportsman races, Tristen Barnes took home the Super Street race and Zach Sprouse winning the Virginia Mini Cup. Hear from Merriman and runner up in both Sportsman races Kyle Dudley give their comments and thoughts about the night and what's to come.

We preview the upcoming weekend events in the region including the CARS Tour race from South Boston and SMART Modified event from Tri-County.

Does fighting put a black eye on the sport of racing? Stemming from the Nick Sanchez, Matt Crafton the two hosts have differing opinions on this.

We discuss Ryan Blaney's Talladega win, who really won over the weekend in the playoff chase, illegal windshields, a Roval preview and much more!
