Our South Boston Speedway Track Championship Series concludes this week with Late Model Champion Trevor Ward. Trevor tells us why he's had no chance to celebrate as he has been preparing for Martinsville this weekend along with a second car for Brandon Lopez who is making his track debut this weekend. He discusses how that partnership came about, his ever growing fan base and the off season changes he made to help him prepare for his championship run at South Boston along with his personal feelings about it.

Johnny Layne picked up the Southside Disposal Pure Stock Championship to conclude our South Boston Track Champions Series. Layne discusses what this one means to him, his daughters aspiring racing career and his thoughts about breaking the record set by Nathan Crews for all time wins in the division among other topics.

The SMART Modified Tour started their playoffs at Orange County and it was truly a wild card as most of the playoff drivers ran into trouble or did not have strong runs. Cayden Lapcevich became the first Canadian driver to pick up a Smarty Trophy by holding off a hungry Carter McMurray on Saturday and we discuss all of the happenings in what is now a four way tie for the championship lead heading into the next race October 3rd at Tri-County.

We discuss fight night at Bristol and reveal which part of the Carson Hocevar, Ryan Blaney fight surprised us.
