50th Episode Special with Justin Mincey & Kenny Forbes

We are on the scene for our 50th episode! We sincerely thank each and every one of you who has supported us through 50 episodes. Jody decided he would lead the show off for once so let us know how he did!

We are joined this week by the winner of the biggest Budweiser Limited Sportsman race of the season at South Boston Speedway Kenny Forbes. Kenny describes his run on Saturday that paid $1,500 to win, working for Lee Pulliam Performance, his start in racing, why he hasn't raced much over the last several years and what this event meant to him personally and for the rest of the division that competes weekly.

Justin Mincey serves as a statistician for Bowman Gray Stadium, FloRacing and the SMART Modified Tour Powered by Pace-O-Matic. He joins the program to help us break down the final week of the season at Bowman Gray, the historic championships for Brandon Ward, Chase Robertson, Christian Joyce and how A.J. Sanders continues to add to his legacy. We also talk about a myriad of topics which include the mysterious second groove at the track and preview this weekend's SMART Modified Tour race from ACE Speedway and what to expect from the weekend. Jody and Julian give a full breakdown of the Old North State Nationals from Tri County Speedway. They discuss the return of Nelson Motorsports to a CARS Tour victory lane and Landon Huffman's impact to the team and how big his first win on the tour is. The boys discuss if this is Carson Kvapil's stamp of approval for the championship, contenders running out of gas, three wide racing through the field, tempers flaring between Layne Riggs and Mason Diaz, the comeback through the field by Diaz and pointed out some strong runs by Ronnie Bassett Jr and Cameron Bolin among others. We also touch on the Pro Late Model race won by Caden Kvapil.
